Panobridge™ M1 is an advanced, incredibly lightweight, all-metal night vision bridge mount that provides our patented (U.S. patent 12,114,723) Adjustable Field of View technology with two milspec AN/PVS-14s and full compatibility with a variety of thermal monoculars. At an industry-leading 1.9 oz total, it weighs the same as a single polymer milspec J-Arm, yet its structure is made entirely of high-performance 7075-T6 aluminum alloy. Introducing the new industry standard in dual night vision monocular mounting.
In addition to its ultralight construction, the Panobridge™ M1 allows for on-the-fly pan angle adjustment with the ability to mechanically lock each arm independently, providing a highly customizable and stable viewing setup. Each monocular can be swung upward individually without disturbing the adjacent device, making it ideal for mixed night vision and thermal configurations or periods of unaided vision. When stowed, the system folds closer to the helmet for improved balance and reduced snag risk. Despite its low weight, the Panobridge M1 is engineered for duty use, having been drop-tested from 2 meters onto concrete with devices installed. The latest Mod 1 update further improves rigidity and weight savings with a reinforced center section and captured pan-lock screws to prevent loss during adjustment.
CONSIDERATIONS:
-
Collimation notice: When using two PVS-14 monoculars, collimation may be required, as images from bridged monoculars may not be perfectly aligned. Most users will not notice this, as the brain typically compensates, but prolonged use may cause eye strain. If needed, collimation can be performed by a qualified technician or via a DIY method; when done correctly, re-purging the monoculars is not required.
-
No auto shut-off: This bridge does not include an automatic shut-off feature. Users must manually power off monoculars when flipping them up or stowing them on the helmet.
- Mount compatibility requirement: This bridge is not compatible with bayonet-style helmet mounts. A dovetail-type night vision helmet mount is required. An economical option is modifying a surplus Norotos® RHNO-II mount with a Norotos PVS-15/18 dovetail adapter. For a ready-to-use solution, the Wilcox® G24 Lite is recommended.
