In the hellish close confines of the space hulk Gallowdark, elite kill teams stalk each other through haunted corridors. Millenia ago, an Imperial Inquisitor and a regiment of loyal Cadian Kasrkin recovered an ancient xenos artefact, but their ship was lost in the warp and fused with the colossal floating mass of Gallowdark. Only a few years have passed for the Kasrkin survivors trapped within its time-bending mass, though thousands have gone by in the galaxy outside. Now, the Necron owners of that relic have awoken from eons of slumber – and Technomancer Hamanet the Relentless of the Tsarakura Dynasty will stop at nothing to reclaim his lost creation.Kill Team: Shadowvaults is a full expansion box for Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team, the ultimate sci-fi skirmish game. It includes miniatures for two complete new Kill Teams – the hard-bitten elite Kasrkin shock troops of Cadia, and the newly-awoken Necrons of the Hierotek Circle. They’re packed together with loads of space hulk terrain, which is fully compatible with the set found in Kill Team: Into the Dark, along with transfers, a double-sided game board, and a rules manual including missions, background material exploring the mysterious setting, and full rosters for the two kill teams.
In this box you'll find:
1x 120-page Kill Team: Shadowvaults rules manual: Plunge deeper into the Gallowdark, with background material exploring this vast space hulk and the operatives seeking to escape its clutches. This manual also offers new rules, datacards, and background tables for both the Kasrkin and Hierotek Circle kill teams, plus additional killzone rules for sentry turrets and robots, nine Shadow Ops missions with new rules for infiltration, and nine Critical Ops missions for playing in the Gallowdark.
18x Citadel miniatures: Two full kill teams, including Astra Militarum miniatures available for the first time in this box, each featuring a wide array of customisation and alternate assembly options. Extra components allow for deep personalisation of your Kill Team, and many models can be assembled as multiple different kinds of operative.
Kasrkin Kill Team:
- 10 all-new elite Astra Militarum troops, available for the first time in this set – replete with incredible details and loads of options
- Components to build specialists like a Combat Medic, Demo-trooper, Sharpshooter, Gunner, and Recon-trooper
- Full transfer sheet with 597 markings and icons
Hierotek Circle Kill Team:
- Eight Necron models – five of these can be built as Immortals or Deathmarks, along with a Cryptek Technomancer, and an upgrade frame to build mechanical aides
- Extra components to build specialists like the Apprentek, Immortal Despotek, Plasmacyte Reanimator and Plasmacyte Accelerator
- Additional cosmetic options to customise your Necrons
45x pieces of Killzone: Gallowdark terrain: This modular system of walls, doors, and pillars can be arranged in a huge variety of configurations to create different room and corridor layouts, with glueless assembly allowing you to adjust their positioning in-game. It includes 11 new pieces of terrain, including a sentry turret, robot crawler, security panels, cameras, bomb, weapons lockers, and equipment stashes.
1x double-sided Shadowvaults game board: Set up your terrain on this folding cardboard game board measuring 30" by 22", depicting the battle-scarred deck plating of the space hulk on both sides.
These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
You'll need a copy of Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team Core Book to make full use of this supplement.

A Great Starting Point / What The Readers Want
Format: Paperback
This is the Spider-Man comic I have been waiting a decade for. For some reason with Marvel Comics these days there is a mindset that Peter Parker and Mary Jane cannot be happy by staying married together ever since the release of the terrible storyline One More Day. Nick Spencer almost undid this terrible decision but was prevented from doing so.
The series gives readers exactly what they want by starting it off with Peter and MJ already married and with kids. This is a brand new continuity that is separate from the old Ultimate universe that welcomes readers with a new starting point. Peter is not yet established as Spider-Man and the story is about him gaining his powers while he is an older and more mature individual. There are quite a few surprises that I will not spoil, but it will demonstrate how this is not the same universe as the original 616 universe.
I have to hand it to Jonathan Hickman as he is a great writer that is able to grab the attention of his audience and keep them invested in what happens next. This was apparent on his previous runs with Avengers and New Avengers. Also, the art by Marco Checchetto is top tier as this man is one of the best artists working in the comic industry currently at this time. Check out this comic if you are looking to read a good Spider-Man series.

Best Spider-Man book out there!
Format: Kindle
I really enjoyed this first volume of ultimate Spider-Man. As a (sort of) adult myself I love the new twist on the origin with Peter being a grown ass man with in his mid to late 30s with a career & young family when he gets the the powers this time instead of geeky teenager who is perpetually in his 20s in the 696 Marvel universe. Really enjoy the different take on Green Goblin as well and looking forward to seeing how everything plays out with the whole mission and greater conflict laid out in this book. The artwork is stellar and the writing is really sharp and crisp. Peter has never been more likable & charismatic and MJ & Gwen Stacey have never looked hotter. I could not recommend this book highly enough if you are a Spider-Man fan. As a matter of fact I enjoyed this book so much that I read it twice which I very rarely do.

The Spider-Man We Didn't Know We Needed
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
Ultimate Spider-Man (2024) Vol. 1 is the breath of fresh air the franchise needed. Instead of the familiar wide-eyed teenager, we get a Peter Parker in his mid-30s - a husband, a father, and a man already carrying the weight of the world before he ever puts on a suit. That added dimension makes him instantly more compelling.
The family dynamics, while central to the premise, don't always land with the emotional weight they deserve. It's a minor gripe in an otherwise confident debut.
Hickman deserves credit for sidestepping decades of continuity baggage and reimagining beloved characters in arcs that feel genuinely new. For longtime fans and newcomers alike, this is a worthy read.

Good Story and Good For Reading Over and Over
Format: Paperback
Pretty good storyline in this comic book. I read through it pretty quick but it’s still seems like one of those books that are good to read over and over again.
