Rosso granato nel calice, è ampio e complesso al naso con note di ciliegia, ribes e lampone, che si uniscono ai profumi di fiori macerati, erbe aromatiche, liquirizia e spezie dolci delicate. In bocca conferma le impressioni avute in olfazione e si sviluppa succoso, fresco e sapido, dai tannini raffinati.Il Suvereto Sangiovese DOCG “Ciparisso” dell’ 2014 è prodotto con le uve della varietà simbolo della regione raccolte a mano da una delle vigne più vocate di La Fralluca. Dopo la scrupolosa selezione manuale, i grappoli sono pressati delicatamente e avviati alla fermentazione in acciaio. La successiva maturazione è eseguita in barriques di vario passaggio per 18 mesi, prima del lento affinamento in bottiglia. Una notevole espressione di sangiovese.
Ottimo con carni rosse e selvaggina, si abbina ai formaggi a media stagionatura.
