"'Abdu'l-Bahá explained to the Bahá'ís that the physical body of the Prophet of God is like a cloud which covers the sun and which prevents its rays from reaching the earth. But when the cloud is removed, the rays of the sun reach the people directly, and the whole of creation is resuscitated by their lifegiving light." (p. 37) This collection is a reference guide to stories and writings on the Ascension of Bahá'u'lláh. It can be used as a guide for holy day commemorations, or for deepening on the history and meaning of the end of an Epoch. This short volume includes: eyewitness accounts of Bahá'u'lláh's passing, Shoghi Effendi's history of Bahá'u'lláh's final days from God Passes By, the Tablet of Visitation, the Kitab-i-Ahd, or Book of the Covenant (Bahá'u'lláh's Will and Testament), and utterances of 'Abdu'l-Bahá concerning His father. I absolutely love these bowls, they are durable and beautiful, and they are great for every day use.
