The EMPI 13.5" Foam Steering Wheel is a versatile, high-performance choice for drivers looking to improve cockpit ergonomics and grip. Whether you are navigating tight trails in a sand rail or looking for more thigh room in a street car, the smaller 13.5-inch diameter provides a compact, responsive feel without sacrificing control.
The rim is wrapped in a high-density poly-foam that offers a firm, comfortable grip that won't get as hot as metal or wood in the summer sun—making it a favorite for open-top buggies and beach cruisers. The classic three-spoke design features weight-saving drilled holes and a high-luster chrome finish for a clean, custom appearance.
Key Features
-
Compact Diameter: At 13.5 inches, this wheel saves valuable space in tight cockpits while offering quicker steering response.
-
Deep Dish Profile: Features a 3.5-inch dish (measured from the mounting point), bringing the wheel closer to the driver for better leverage and a sporty driving position.
-
Durable Poly-Foam Rim: Designed for comfort and longevity; it’s easy to clean and maintains a "tacky" grip even in dusty or off-road conditions.
-
Versatile Mounting: Utilizes the industry-standard 3-bolt pattern, making it compatible with a wide range of adapters and quick-release hubs.

This steering wheel is a "universal fit" component that requires a vehicle-specific 3-bolt adapter (Boss Kit).
