The LAMY 2000 Black Ballpoint Pen brings the brand's Bauhaus-influenced design to an everyday essential. Its matte black Makrolon body and brushed stainless steel accents create a clean, durable silhouette that feels balanced in hand and slips easily into a pocket or notebook.
Craftsmanship & Design
Introduced in 1966 by designer Gerd A. Muller, the 2000 series is celebrated for precise tolerances and seamless transitions. The fiberglass-reinforced Makrolon offers a lightly textured grip that resists fingerprints, while the spring-loaded stainless steel clip secures confidently to fabric. German-made construction underscores the pen's longevity and understated elegance.
Writing Experience
A smooth push-button mechanism deploys the tip with a satisfying click. The pen is equipped for the LAMY M16 giant ballpoint refill, known for clean, consistent lines and long write-out. The balanced weight and tapered profile support comfortable note-taking, journaling, and everyday lists without fatigue.
