All applications share the Nissan QR25DE 2.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with 89.00 mm bore. The X-Trail coverage spans all three generations (T30/T31/T32) from 2001 onward. The Navara D23 2.5 DE is the petrol variant introduced in 2021 for the South African market.
