They lay flat for packing, are small enough to use for the event to carry the essentials, the pockets inside will keep everything organized, they have gold handles if I don’t want to use the removable gold chain strap. It’s very light weight and the pleather is super soft (I did see on other reviews that someone said they had a smell, mine do not). It comes with its own dust bag for storage when it’s not in use. I git them on sale so for around $20 it is well worth the value and if something happens to it during the event or trip, even after for a girls night out I won’t be out hundreds of dollars like I would otherwise with my usual purses. Great choice. Colors are spot on, quality seems solid, and I expect to get a lot of use out of these due to being able to dress them up or dress them down. PEFECT!
