The Unico CDDue brings Unison Research right into the popular and versatile digital audio world.
Not just a CD player, the Unico CDDue combines a high-level DAC with Valve output stage, a top-end CD mechanism. It’s feature-rich, flexible and customizable to the listener’s preference. A variety of external sources can be connected to the Unico CDDue, including a laptop or computer for playing all known audio formats – including DSD – via USB and Bluetooth connectivity.

The hybrid design provides a rich tube sound suitable for high-end audio systems.

After ignition, the lamps warm up for about 30 seconds, and the output stage is turned off to prevent unnecessary stresses on the amplifier due to transient signals that appear before the lamps reach operating temperature. On the front, there is a disc tray, a 128 x 64 pixel graphic display, an IR sensor for the remote control, control buttons and a main switch (on the side).

On the back there is a network connection, unbalanced and balanced outputs, Bluetooth antenna, digital inputs (USB, TOSLINK, S/PDIF, AES/EBU) and digital outputs (AES/EBU, S/PDIF, TOSLINK).
