Don't reach for the pry bar! The DE-DET-RT1 is a specialized, double-ended tool designed specifically for the delicate task of de-pinning and servicing Deutsch DT, DTM, and DTP Series connectors.
Whether you are performing a wire-tuck, repairing a damaged loom, or adding pins to an existing circuit, this tool allows you to safely remove both the internal wedgelocks and the terminals without damaging the connector body. It’s a precision instrument that turns a frustrating 20-minute job into a 5-second task, ensuring your expensive high-end connectors remain reusable and professional.
Features & Compatibility
-
Dual-Ended Design: One end is engineered to pop out the locking wedge, while the other features the hook needed to release the terminal retention fingers.
-
Compatible Series: Works with all standard Deutsch DT, DTM, and DTP series housings.
-
Compact & Durable: Small enough to fit in your pocket or the front pouch of your tool roll for field-service repairs.
Tech Tip
-
The "Right Tool" Rule: Remember, this is a precision removal tool, not a pry bar or a chisel. Using it correctly ensures your waterproof seals and internal locks stay intact, maintaining the IP68 rating of your Deutsch connectors.
