Seeds are freshly harvested from a very low-yield pollination, meaning availability is extremely limited. A portion will be retained in-house, so only a small batch is being released.
Mother Plant
The mother plant is a standout Pap Var x Carlablackiae, known for its heavy, painterly variegation and broad, well-balanced leaf shape.
It displays a rich mix of deep green and golden-yellow and orange marbling, with some areas forming bold sectoral patches. The venation remains clean and bright, creating strong contrast against the darker tones. The leaf holds a thick, slightly quilted texture, giving it a very premium, substantial look.
Pollen Donor
The pollen donor is Dressleri x Pap Var, a striking plant with a noticeably more elongated leaf form.
Variegation is bold and high-contrast, often presenting as half-moon or strong sectoral splits alongside mottled marbling. The darker green portions are deep and velvety, which enhances the brightness of the yellow variegation. The overall shape is longer and more dramatic compared to the mother plant.
Expectations
This cross brings together two strongly variegated parents, increasing the likelihood of variegated offspring.
Expect a wide range of expressions, including:
