What is a Japanese Head Spa?

Japanese Head SPA is a comprehensive treatment combining scalp massage techniques with advanced care. Thanks to scrubs, masks, and aromatic oils, the skin is thoroughly cleansed, nourished and moisturised, while hair regains its strength and shine. A gentle massage stimulates microcirculation, reduces tension and supports natural hair growth. The treatment not only prevents hair loss, but also significantly improves its condition – hair becomes stronger, more moisturised, and resistant to damage. Head SPA is more than just a beauty treatment – it's an experience that combines care with deep relaxation

Luxurious Waterfall Head SPA hydromassage

The golden arch with an adjustable inclination angle, designed for the Waterfall Head SPA, is an innovative solution that enables comprehensive scalp care. Water jets act as a natural massage, improving blood circulation, reducing tension and stress, and bringing relief from ailments such as headaches and neck stiffness. Precisely controlled water flow promotes hair regeneration and intensely moisturises the skin. Thanks to an intelligent closed-loop system, the arch draws water from the basin and reuses it, providing a continuous water massage. A combination of technology and relaxation that supports hair health and well-being

Effective steam therapy

The set includes a specialised steam-generating device and a dedicated sink cover that allows for precise treatment. This modern care method uses the properties of steam to intensively regenerate and moisturise hair. This allows the active ingredients contained in masks, ampoules and other products to penetrate deeper, supporting hair repair and strengthening. Steam therapy improves hair structure, increases resistance to damage and restores a healthy shine, making hair soft, supple and full of life.

Touch control panel

The intuitive touch panel allows for full control over treatment parameters and ease of use. It allows you to adjust the operating time and water temperature, as well as monitor their current values on a clear, easy-to-read display. Additionally, the panel allows you to activate the light therapy function, which illuminates the bowl, creating an atmosphere of relaxation and luxury. The set also includes a remote control, which allows you to conveniently control the steam therapy device from a distance.

Features for treatment versatility

The adjustable headrest, with the option of extending and changing the angle of inclination, allows for a perfect adjustment to the user's needs, ensuring maximum comfort. The set also includes ergonomic cushions, including a headrest with a face opening, which expands the range of applications – from scalp treatments to massages and various body and facial therapies. These practical features make the lounger a versatile piece of equipment for beauty and wellness salons, combining customer comfort with the functionality needed by the professional.

Stylish washbasin for comfort

The deep plastic basin bowl in an elegant shade of white effectively reduces splashing of water and cosmetics, ensuring a clean environment and comfortable work. Made of durable materials, it is resistant to discolouration, scratches, and damage, and its smooth surface makes hygiene maintenance quick and easy. The combination of functionality and modern design elevates the standard of any professional space.

Thoughtful amenities and accessories

The wash unit is equipped with a mixer tap, allowing for precise adjustment of water temperature to the client's needs. A dedicated space for the shower head improves efficiency, while a chrome-plated plug with a special strainer ensures water flow control and maintains a high level of hygiene. The water connection is located inside the base, behind the fabric, aesthetically concealing the plumbing and giving the entire unit an elegant look. The ergonomically contoured bed ensures comfort during various beauty treatments. A practical pouffe complements the unit, increasing staff comfort and enhancing the functionality of the unit. These features make the wash unit ideal for both hair and SPA salons.

Stability and comfort in an elegant design

The Head Spa Maldives bed combines functionality with modern design. A sturdy frame, upholstered in elegant synthetic leather, ensures a stable structure. The ergonomically profiled surface in shades of black, covered with soft fabric, guarantees complete comfort during treatments. The additional space under the lounger allows for convenient storage of accessories, towels, and cosmetics, making it a practical and stylish addition to any professional beauty and wellness salon.

One of Ann Patchett’s best novels.
Format: Hardcover
“Whistler,” by Ann Patchett, Harper, 320 pages, June 2, 2026. Daphne and Jonathan Fuller are visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art when Jonathan notices an older man following them. They go up to the next floor and the man is still following them. It turns out he is Eddie Triplett, Daphne’s former stepfather, who was married to her mother for a little more than year when Daphne was nine. They haven’t seen each other in almost 45 years, but he recognizes her. It is a chance meeting. Daphne teaches literature at a private school and Jonathan is a retired hospital administrator. Eddie is an editor at Random House, but he wasn’t at the office this day because of a water main break. Daphne visits her sister, Leda, to tell her about the encounter. Flashback to 1980, when Leda was having an appendectomy, Eddie was driving Daphne to the hospital in a snowstorm and they were in an accident. Daphne had to climb out of a car window and walk for help. After that, her mother divorced Eddie. Of course, there’s more to what happened. This is a wonderful story about adults looking back at the choices they’ve made and the choices that others made for them. It is about the small things that impact our lives and memories of childhood. It is about families, love and bravery. This is one of Ann Patchett’s best novels.

Another amazing book from a talented author
Format: Kindle
This is one of my favorite authors so I knew I would enjoy this book and once again, the characters seemed so real like people I knew personally. I very much enjoyed Daphne and Eddie’s relationship and I loved learning about Eddie and Daphne’s mother’s life together and why things played out the way they did. This book truly shows how people can impact us forever regardless of how long they were in our life. There was so much beauty in this book despite the loss and sadness at times. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Revisiting Childhood Story
Format: Hardcover
When you look back on your childhood, are there unresolved feelings? What happens when you look back on your life to reflect? Daphne Fuller is our main character in this new novel by Ann Patchett. Jonathan, her husband, is very observant and can’t help but notice an older man following them on a visit to the Met. Imagine Daphne’s surprise when she discovers that the older man is her former stepfather, who was married to her mother for only a short time when Daphne was nine. Eddie Triplett was a favorite, though, and she adored him. It was also during this time that she experienced a very pivotal point in her young life. Now in her early 50s, Daphne and Eddie get reacquainted and remember how much they enjoyed each other’s company. It’s natural to wonder what her life would have been like had Eddie stayed involved. Daphne finally learns the truth about why Eddie and her mother divorced. Ann Patchett is one of those writers who make storytelling seem effortless, and I enjoy her books and the characters she creates. As Daphne reflects on her life, her husband heads back to his childhood home to clean it out after the death of his mother. Both are grappling with childhood memories and family dynamics. There is a pivotal story about a horse called Whistler, but this is not a ranching story. This book is filled with characters and families who love, make mistakes, reconcile, grapple with loss, and live richer lives. Thank you to Harper for my gifted copy. All opinions are my own.

Classic Ann Patchett: A moving family drama
Format: Hardcover
Ann Patchett’s new book WHISTLER is literary fiction in its purest form. Rather than a plot-driven story that goes from A to B, she writes about everyday moments in a way that makes the reader relate. Her stories are an in-depth study of humanness, of our shared experiences and our limitations. Much of this story is told in flashbacks, revealing a 1980 car accident involving MC Daphne and her stepfather Eddie; and here we learn the significance of a horse named Whistler. Daphne is an English lit teacher at a girls’ school and Eddie is a literary editor, so I loved their discussions. Surrounding these two are a host of unique and interesting characters: Daphne’s husband Jonathan, her birth parents, and younger sister Leda, a clinical psychologist. Although facts are related, the meat of the narrative is what the characters think, feel, fear, and regret. It’s a story about family relationships and the long-lasting effects of events and words for years afterward. It’s about the power of our memories. There’s something about Ann Patchett’s witty and perfectly crafted prose that grips the reader. She has an extraordinary ability to tell a simple story, highlighting human experiences in such a way as to make it an introspective venture.
