Light: Platycerium bifurcatum prefers bright, indirect light. It will tolerate some gentle morning sun, but strong direct sunlight can scorch the fronds. A well-lit room near a window is ideal, making it perfect for bright living areas without harsh exposure.
Water: Staghorn ferns like to dry out slightly between waterings. Water thoroughly, then allow excess moisture to drain away before watering again. Overwatering is the biggest risk, so it’s better to underwater than overdo it. In cooler months, watering can be reduced as growth slows. High humidity is a bonus and will help keep the fronds looking their best.
