You need a step that can bear weight with ease, provide comfortable footing and look good doing it. ARIES 4" oval side bars are sleek, strong and custom-fitted to be a highly functional extension of your truck. ARIES 4" oval side bars are made with strong 4" elliptical tubing and are available in two different finish options to allow you full customization: polished stainless steel and black powder coat carbon steel. This set of side bars is constructed from high-strength carbon steel for a solid step, and they feature a dual-layer E-coat and semi-gloss black powder coat finish for excellent protection against scratching, chipping and peeling. Something that sets the ARIES 4" oval side bar apart from all others is its blended end caps and OE-style bends. Rather than capping our side bars with a plastic cap, we offer a blended end cap for a smooth, finished appearance. We also equip the ends with a special 20-degree bend and original equipment styling to perfectly contour to your vehicle. ARIES 4" oval side bars are fitted with raised step pads to provide a wide stepping surface. The polypropylene construction will not crack over time, and because it has a textured grip, the surface is highly resistant to slips and skids, even when wet. To add an extra element of class to our oval sides, we also fit each one with a stainless steel insignia bearing the ARIES name. Installation of ARIES 4" oval side bars is quick and easy with custom-fitted mounting brackets and no drilling necessary. Dogs love it and so do I
Size: Small
I have small dogs (<20 lbs) and they would chew on these forever if I let them. Never had any pieces break off. While this isn't the hardest toy to clean, it isn't the easiest either. Very worth the money and so much easier to use and safer for them. There's no danger of them breaking or swallowing part of the brush which has happened in the past. I highly recommend this dental toy, especially if your dog tries to chew on the toothbrush when you brush their teeth.

Good Idea, didn't Match Expectations.
Size: Large
Heavy and a bit difficult to 'load.' Maybe too hard for our dog. He did carry it around but didn't try to get treats as well as expected and it's quite difficult to clean. Maybe best for a larger more aggressive dog than a 65 lb. lab mix.

This Bites

We've happily used OxyFresh pet water additive for probably around 15 years. I love that product, so I figured their toys would be great too. Not so much. The concept seems good. This does feel like a heavy duty rubber and it feels like a sturdy construction, but in actuality, it did not hold up. Without a goal like food in it, my two dogs had 0 interest in this. It says you can put a treat in it. I wrestled to put a piece of kibble in the jaws of this toy, but that was tough and there isn't much room in there. That did pique their interest. Both my boys are about 50 lbs. One is a heavy chewer and the other is pretty gentle mouthed with toys. BOTH dogs were taking chunks out of this immediately. I must say that I'm really disappointed. If the rubber held up, this is a fantastic concept and seemed like it would work very well to clean teeth. Unfortunately for us, this was an expensive toy that began to fail within about 15 minutes of what seemed to be very average use. We'll be continuing to use a toothbrush instead.

Truly Chew Proof (so far)

My dog loves this corn thing (he is 1 year old and roughly 50 lbs). He has gotten to be an aggressive chewer, but this has been one of the only toys that has kept up after long use (4 months since I bought it) and not been destroyed in minutes. There is a nice squeak to it, and I really have to press hard to get it going, but it is easy for him to do it. It is easy to clean, too, because it is rubber.
My only comment is for owner awareness: the description says "good for teeth and keeps them clean". This is false. I believe no dog toy or kibble will "clean" their teeth. You, the owner, just have to keep up with their oral hygiene through brushing. As for the other claims -- the training, weight management, and preventing chewing furniture -- again, use your best judgment. I did not purchase the toy for those claims. But as a durable chew toy, this yellow corn does the job and satisfies the natural instinct to chew.
Note: Some of the negative reviews for durability are for the alternative blue rubber bone, which I did not purchase.
