Compound Information
This listing is for Pagid Racing compound RST D1. Each Pagid Racing compound has its own friction profile and intended use, so compound choice should always match the vehicle setup and driving environment.
Technical Description
A specialized rear-axle sprint compound designed for precision, control, and balance under extreme racing conditions. Developed within the RST family of sprint and rally pads, the Pagid Racing RST D1 is the perfect counterpart to aggressive front compounds like RST 3 or RST 5E, offering smooth modulation and confident rear stability, exactly what competitive drivers need to push the limit with confidence. Engineered from a semi-metallic formulation with a carefully tuned friction curve, RST D1 delivers a medium friction level that ensures stable braking force at the rear while preventing unwanted lock-up during hard deceleration. The result is razor-sharp control when trail-braking, cornering, or managing variable grip surfaces like tarmac and gravel. Thanks to its excellent thermal resistance and low fade tendency, the RST D1 remains consistent over long runs, even when temperatures soar. It’s the perfect pad for drivers who want to fine-tune their braking balance without compromising durability or pedal feel.
