New York Skyline is an original charcoal drawing focused on architectural rhythm, contrast, and light. Deep charcoal tones define the city’s iconic structure, allowing heavy shadow and sharp form to carry the composition.
I focused on the interplay between the deep blacks of the charcoal and the white space of the paper to capture the city's energy through a minimalist lens. The drawing is rendered on heavyweight paper and comes professionally presented in a black composite frame with a crisp white mat for clean contrast. It is protected behind real glass and arrives ready to hang with hardware already installed.
The reference photograph for this work was taken by photographer Vivienne Gucwa.
The work is signed on the back and ships with complimentary worldwide delivery. Final sale.
