•  Land health preservation - ensuring that the mohair comes from farms with a progressive approach to managing their land, i.e. protecting soil health, biodiversity, and native species. 
• Animal welfare - the fibre comes from goats that have been treated responsibly and have not been subjected to any unnecessary harm. 
• Social welfare - working conditions, and health and safety of workers is also addressed.
