None Greater, The Undomesticated Attributes of GodFor too long, Christians have domesticated God, bringing him down to our level as if he is a God who can be tamed. For too long, Christians have domesticated God, bringing him down to our level as if he is a God who can be tamed. But he is a God who is high and lifted up, the Creator rather than the creature, someone than whom none greater can be conceived. If God is the most perfect, supreme being, infinite and incomprehensible, then certain perfect-making attributes must be true of him. Perfections like aseity, simplicity, immutability, impassibility, and eternity shield God from being crippled by creaturely limitations. At the same time, this all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-wise God accommodates himself, exhibiting perfect holiness, mercy, and love as he makes known who he is and how he will save us. The attributes of God show us exactly why God is worthy of worship: there is none like him. Join Matthew Barrett as he rediscovers these divine perfections and finds himself surprised by the God he thought he knew.

______________

Matthew Barrett (MDiv, PhD, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) is associate professor of Christian theology at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and the executive editor of Credo Magazine. He is the author of numerous books, including God's Word Alone, 40 Questions about Salvation, Reformation Theology, John Owen on the Christian Life, and Salvation by Grace. He is also the host of the Credo podcast where he talks with fellow theologians about the most important doctrines of the faith. He lives in Kansas City.

______________

"Recent years have revealed that while evangelical Protestantism has done good work in defending a sound doctrine of Scripture, it has badly neglected the doctrine of God and at many points wandered away from classical Nicene orthodoxy, under the influence of a blunt, historically ill-informed biblicism. There is thankfully a renewed interest in classical theism among Protestant theologians, but the discussion often seems rarefied to the point where many Christians are confused as to why it is important and what is at stake for the church. Matthew Barrett's excellent book bridges the gap between the professional theologian and the pew, laying out in clear, accessible terms what the biblical, historic, ecumenical doctrine of God is, why it matters, and why its abandonment by great swathes of the Protestant world is something that needs correction." Carl R. Trueman, professor, Grove City College; author of Grace Alone

Awesome set of lights!
Size: 16.4ft
Great example of you get what you pay for! These lights actually stay stuck where they should unlike cheaper versions that peel off over time. The remote is very easy to control and there is a massive variety of colors and moods to choose from - something for everyone! Adds just the right mood for whatever you’re looking for.

Cost too high
Size: 9.8ft
Bulky and heavy plug/wiring. Control ‘remote’ is attached to wiring/plug. The strip itself is heavy and does not stick well on ceiling nor walls. Would be best used on shelves or floors. Not worth the money. It is a basic strip of lights with a thick coating over lights.

Excellent customer support, great quality products!
Size: 9.8ft
Very impressed with all of Govee’s products so far. Have a vintage LED strip that has worked flawlessly for over 4 years. Recently outfitted entire outdoor patio enclosure with 2 COB LED strips and 2 pro ceiling lights. All paired very well with Matter and Apple Home. One strip had connectivity issues and Govee quickly responded snd sent a free replacement without any pushback. Very impressed and appreciate the service and quality!

Not worth it!
Size: 6FT*6FT, Color: Black
These are the terrible. They keep falling down. The bottom part doesn't stay tight so it keeps turning making it in possible to stay standing. Its the absolute worst!
