TimeCap Timer Pill Bottle
The TimeCap Timer Pill Bottle has been designed to improve the quality of daily living for individuals where conditions such as dementia may otherwise hinder independence. The TimeCap Pill Bottle features a unique timer lid that displays when the bottle was last opened, making it ideal for individuals who are more susceptible to lapses in memory or difficulty remembering whether or not they have taken their last dose of medication. As the bottle does not feature a childproof cap, it is easier to open than most traditional bottles, and is therefore particularly suited to anybody who may struggle with regular bottle caps.
The cap of the TimeCap Timer Pill Bottle can also fit onto standard 33mm thread pill bottles, meaning it can be used with a range of medication types to suit different user needs. This makes it particularly useful for using with pill bottles where retaining the labels on the bottle is critical.
How Does the TimeCap Pill Bottle Work?
The cap of the TimeCap Pill Bottle works as an effective indicator of when the bottle was last opened, which in turn provides a suggestion of when the pills were last taken. The cap has a simple yet effective design, with a display screen presenting the time and day of the week when the bottle was last opened, as well as four simple buttons for easy navigation through up to 24 saved times.
Who Can Benefit from the TimeCap?
The TimeCap Timer Pill Bottle has been designed to assist with daily living for individuals with such conditions as dementia or memory loss. It is particularly useful for individuals who take pills on a daily or regular basis, as a quick glance at the cap of the pill bottle will inform the user whether or not the bottle has recently been opened.
The TimeCap can also help to encourage more independent living; while carers may often be required to be extra vigilant with ensuring that clients have taken their medication, the TimeCap can provide a quick indication of this, giving clients and care patients a little more control and independence over their own medication. This is beneficial for both carer and user, whether at home or in a care environment.
The TimeCap Pill Bottle has an easy-to-read display
How Long Does the Battery Last?
The battery of the TimeCap will regularly last for years of use. Since this product is under a one year's manufacturer's warranty, a replacement can be provided if the battery stops working within one year of purchase.
