ICONIC STYLE - EL VIEJÓN:
The El Viejón style with tall crown and short brim has been made popular by artists like Los Dos Carnales, creating a distinctive profile that honors authentic vaquero heritage. This traditional style offers commanding presence and versatile styling that works from concerts to ranch activities, making it a staple of regional Mexican western wear.
CARE & MAINTENANCE:
- Handle Only by the Brim: Never pinch the crown to maintain the Sinaloa shape and prevent damage to the weave
- Brush Gently: Use a soft brush to remove dust and maintain the straw weave
- Avoid Moisture: Keep away from excessive water. If wet, let it air dry naturally away from direct heat
- Store Properly: Always set the hat down upside down on its crown (or use a hat rack) to keep the brim from flattening or losing its shape
