The book presents an incredibly interactive and rich learning opportunity as children experience familiar animals and words but also have the opportunity to learn new words in the funniest contexts illustrated so whimsically and in the most beautiful, attractive colors. 

For each letter, and hiding beneath each flap, is a funny nonsensical sentence written in a clever way so that every word of that sentence begins with the same letter (alliteration) they are exploring. This helps develop sound association in addition to letter recognition. The visuals are fun and humorous...ideal for your child's imagination and the perfect playful read while learning their ABC's. The book ends with a BIG surprise sure to tickle any child's (or adult's) fancy!

How to use this book:

Peekaboo ABC is a high-quality hard cover book with durable board inside perfect for little curious hands. It works on two levels and is designed to grow with your child:
  • For younger children aged 1+ do not open the flaps just yet.  Explore the letter names, letter sounds and a fun visual association to an animal. 
  • Once your child is ready (aged 2-3+), you can begin to explore the flaps. Children aged 3+ are beginning to explore letter sounds (hence the alliteration)! Their vocabulary is also growing - as is their curiosity – and developmentally, they are speaking in complete sentences albeit, simple ones. Their verbal humor also begins to emerge around age three and they can appreciate the nonsensical, often-ridiculous situations illustrated in this funny book.

I am always a size 8 in boots, sandals, sneakers and read these ran large so ordered a size 7.5. They are still too big on me. I sent back for a 7 and I will update when I get those. They are very, very cute and comfortable! I love the cloth that goes over the foot!! That makes them seem a bit more fancy than regular flip flops. They also do sound like regular flip flops, so if you want a quiet sandal these are not for you. They are very cushioned and I can def feel the arch support. You will need to size down at least half size and maybe one whole size. The hardest thing for me was to pick a color! May have to get several pair! Just ordered my mom the dark blue and I know she will love them!!! Highly recommend, especially for the low price! Update: Got the 7 and are still too big. As I said, I got my mom the 6 so I tried them on and they are still a tad too big on me!!! BTW the sizes 8,7.5,7 and the 6 I can hardly see any difference whatsoever! They don't come in 5 1/2 so I am sending the 7 back for a 6 and keeping those just because they are so darn cute and comfortable! I also don't have a very thick foot so I wish the straps were a tad tighter, but I will deal with it. So, to sum up: Be sure to size down at least one size and maybe even two. Returns are easy, so maybe try a few different sizes! I haven't worn a size 6 since I was in about the 6th grade, so not sure what is going on with the sizing. Oh yeah, I did get three different colors and the sizing was the same with all three. HTH! Good luck!

I often get achey feet too; but it didn’t happen with these. Whether I was strolling the deck, dancing in the club, or standing waiting in long buffet lines, these shoes had me feeling fancy free and footloose.
