Power Through Concrete and Masonry with Industrial-Grade Speed and Precision
The Diablo DMAPLCC1070 2-11/16 Inch SDS-Plus Carbide Tipped Thin Wall Core Bit is the ultimate solution for professionals seeking speed and longevity in masonry applications. Engineered with a specialized thin-wall design, this core bit significantly reduces the surface area being cut, allowing for much faster penetration and smoother holes compared to traditional solid bits. Whether you are installing large-scale electrical conduit, drainage piping, or HVAC vents through concrete, brick, or block, the optimized carbide teeth withstand extreme heat and impact, delivering significantly longer service life than standard core bits.
Precision-engineered for modern power tools, this bit is fully optimized for peak performance in both corded and cordless SDS-Plus rotary hammers. The innovative dual ejector holes facilitate rapid debris removal, allowing users to quickly clear the core from the bit cup without the need for specialized removal tools. Designed with a unique brazing and hardening process, the carbide tips maintain their edge even in high-torque applications, ensuring a clean and consistent finish every time you pull the trigger.
Key Features
- Fast-Cut Thin Wall Design: Minimizes resistance for rapid drilling in concrete, brick, and block.
- Impact-Resistant Carbide Teeth: Specifically designed to handle high heat and heavy impact for superior productivity.
- Dual Ejector Holes: Integrated holes allow for easy and efficient removal of the core after drilling.
- Optimized Compatibility: Engineered for maximum performance across all corded and cordless SDS-Plus rotary hammers.
- Extended 3" Cutting Depth: Ideal for drilling through standard walls and thick masonry structures.
- Durable Brazing Process: High-quality hardening ensures carbide teeth stay sharp through hundreds of holes.

Pro-Tip: To maximize the life of your thin-wall core bit, avoid using the percussion/hammer mode when starting your hole. Start in "rotation-only" mode for the first 1/4 inch to score the material and prevent the carbide teeth from chipping, then switch to hammer mode to power through the rest of the masonry.
