Model SCO water jacketed CO2 incubators and is an ideal unit for cell culture applications. It provides a precisely controlled, accurate, pure environment throughout the culturing process. Shel Lab CO2 incubators are designed to provide the uniform temperatures and highly stable CO2 environments that are necessary to prevent shocks to cells. This unit is available in a 1.5 cu ft. Aside from the difference in size, what are the differences in features between the SCO "Economy" CO2 Incubator (SCO6WE) and the base model SCO CO2 Incubators (SCO2W and SCO5W)?
There are a few key differences, as well as a number of feature differences between the SCO5W and SCO2W:
- The SCO5W and SCO6WE are stackable, whereas the SCO2W is not.
- The SCO5W has a relative humidity display; the SCO6WE and SCO2W do not.
- The SCO5W and SCO2W have copper-caged HEPA filters, the SCO6WE does not.
