Nickel Alert is sensitive enough to detect nickel at a level as low as 10 ppm (parts/million), and one 0.5 ounce bottle is good for 200+ positive tests! It takes about 30 seconds to use, so if you aren’t sure what’s causing that itchy allergy rash, it won’t take long to figure it out.
Nickel Alert is also sold in a convenient two pack. If nickel is detected, use Nickel Guard® to protect your skin. These two products are also sold together as Nickel Solution®.

Nickel Alert will not harm metal, even delicate heirloom jewelry. However, if the item being tested has been coated, such as with varnish or antique finishes, the coating can be dissolved with the use of Nickel Alert.
Some degree of evaporation may be expected but will not impact the effectiveness of the product.
Please note: For safety reasons, once the tamper evident seal has been broken, Nickel Alert may not be returned.
