Or, they may be used in dual (co-phased) configuration on any vehicle made from any type of material. Like all CB antennas, the "KW" antennas require fine-tuning (SWR) in their final mounting location. The loading coil on all "KW" antennas is easily accessable for precise SWR adjustments. All "KW" antennas exceed the requirements of any CB radio, new or old. Aside from the hi-performance loading coil that maximizes the transmit/receive functions of your CB, these top-loaded antennas will also receive the NOAA emergency weather alert and national weather broadcasts for radios with those features.
- The "KW" antennas are 100% American made with 100% American materials. To maintain a balance between flexibility and ruggedness, we use a custom blended, glass fiber reinforced shaft. Each is wound with heavy insulated copper wire to prevent the oxidation and shorted windings often found on non-Firestik antennas. The 3/8"-24 threaded base has a tapered contact point that works especially well with Firestik mounts and accessories. The tapered "lug-nut" effect transfers stress away from the threads and reduces the possibility of vibration induced loosening of the antenna in its mount. Each antenna is covered with a static reducing, water-tight sleeve containing UV and pigment stabilizers. For peak performance we recommend that you use one of our 18-foot Fire-Flex coaxial cables with these antennas.

Arrow is AIRFLOW direction, not UP install direction
Arrow is AIRFLOW direction, not UP direction. So installation direction might mean arrow of your Purolator filter should be down (true for glove box installs) even if arrow on old filter is up (if it was an UP indication). I wish they mentioned this in product listing, on box, or on side of filter like most brands. Luckily, telephone customer service was super responsive. Otherwise, product is correct size, appears sturdily made.

Easy to install and great quality—perfect for my 2018 Civic

I bought this for my 2018 Honda Civic, and it fits perfectly. It only takes a few minutes to install with just a few clips, and the process is simple. I am a woman and do it myself with no issues at all.
The filter feels sturdy and well made. The thickness and overall quality are excellent. I’ve seen people mention “ease of cleaning,” but I don’t clean mine. I just remove, vacuum the area and replace it when needed. That might be a bit much, but it’s affordable and straightforward.
I can’t say exactly how much it improves airflow or fuel mileage, but I consistently get over 40 miles per gallon in economy mode, so it’s clearly performing well. Overall, it’s a great product if you like handling basic car maintenance on your own.

Affordable and Reusable

The engine filter was really affordable it cost less then $15. I bought this filter because it was recommended from a family friend. It fitted my honda civic perfectly. Replacing the filter was so easy to replace. Replacing or changing the filter was easy it only took a few mins to do. The quality of the filter is really good and it feels like its perfect for my car. I would buy this filter over and over again thats how great it is.
