Description
The Vice Wines Pickleball Orange ViognierThe Vice Wines Pickleball Orange Viognier comes from the cool climate Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley, where bay breezes, clay rich soils, and steady sunshine allow Viognier to ripen slowly and with precision. Made from 100 percent unfiltered Viognier, this orange wine is skin fermented to full dryness, with most of the vintage aged in concrete eggs and neutral oak, then finished with a small portion aged on lees in French barrels for added texture
The Vice Wines Pickleball Orange Viognier comes from the cool-climate Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley, where bay breezes, clay-rich soils, and steady sunshine allow Viognier to ripen slowly and with precision. Made from 100 percent unfiltered Viognier, this orange wine is skin-fermented to full dryness, with most of the vintage aged in concrete eggs and neutral oak, then finished with a small portion aged on lees in French barrels for added texture and depth.
Aromas of tangerine, peach, and honeysuckle lead into a crisp, dry palate layered with green mango, dried apricot, wet stone, and subtle beeswax. The finish is lively and lightly savory with hints of baby pineapple. Best enjoyed slightly chilled, it drinks beautifully on its own or alongside grilled seafood, soft cheeses, and bright Mediterranean dishes.
