4 Corner - Turnbuckle kit:

  • 316 stainless steel hardware
  • 3/16" stainless steel wire rope
  • Two wire rope clamps
  • Four small turnbuckles
  • Four D-shackles
  • Four 5/16" bow shackles

Turnbuckles, bow shackles, d-shackles, and wire rope clamps are made from marine grade 316 stainless steel. This hardware is designed to stand up to harsh conditions and looks good doing it. The turnbuckle has lock nuts that allow the tension be set and locked into place. White lithium grease applied to the threads of the turnbuckle will prevent seizing and promote smoother operation.

The stainless steel 3/16" wire rope can be run through the perimeter pocket of the sail and creates a complete loop using wire rope clamps to attach the wire rope to itself.  When properly installed, the hardware transfers the tensile load from the corners to the center of the sail.

I didn’t know what this book was about when I first started reading.. one thing I felt at the beginning was…amazement? I truly love this book. I have been borrowing books from Libby to read for our book club for a very long time, there have been books that I fell in love with, and always thought if I want to read them again I’ll just borrow them again, this book is the first one that I want to own physically to put on my shelf and know that I have it to read over and over again when I want to reflect and then quiet my head. ( This is the longest review I’ve written about a book I’ve read, I hope it makes sense).
