Description

What Does the Bible Teach about Lust? A Short Book on DesireLust is a problem. A big problem. Our sexualised culture, promising freedom and pleasure, is creating a terrible cocktail of abuse, pain, despair, and suffering. The problem is not simply our actions, but our sinful desires. But there is hope. Christ is more powerful than any lustful desire, any temptation. He has defeated death and sin, and his way leads to true freedom. ______________

Gavin is husband to Amanda and father to Jake and Ava. He is associate pastor at Calvary Grace Church of Calgary, and the Director of International Outreach for CBMW. He played football professionally for Chelsea, QPR and Newcastle Utd and was a pundit on BBC Match of the Day. Owen Strachan is Provost and Professor of Theology at Grace Bible Theological Seminary in Conway, Arkansas.

______________

The terrible times of the last days are dominated by ‘feel good’ culture which has misled millions onto the destructive super–highway of illicit sex in its different forms. From Scripture, research and the experiences of individuals Peacock and Strachan expose the lies that tried and tested societal norms are bad and ‘follow your heart’ is good. This series is humble and hard–hitting – saying what needs to be said but which many Christian leaders have been afraid to say. However, this is no mere condemnatory diatribe pointing the finger. These pages are full of compassion. There is practical help for those struggling and a triumphant note that though sexual sin is overwhelming the power of the Lord Jesus Christ is greater. This is a very valuable piece of work. John Benton, Director of Pastoral Support, The Pastors’ Academy, London Seminary, London, UK

Reliable everyday printer paper, no jams and clean prints
Size: 1 Ream | 500 Sheets, Style: Letter (8.5x11)
Standard printer paper that just works. Feeds consistently without jamming across multiple printers I use it in. The brightness level is good and text prints crisp and clear. The 500 sheet ream is a reasonable size to keep on hand. Nothing fancy to say here, it is just reliable paper at a fair price. Amazon Basics has been consistently good for these kinds of commodity items.

If you're looking for a budget-friendly option for everyday printing, this is a solid choice.
Size: 1 Ream | 500 Sheets, Style: Letter (8.5x11)
Let's be honest, reviewing copy paper isn't exactly thrilling. But,et's be honest, reviewing copy paper isn't exactly thrilling. But, if you're buying paper, you expect it to, well, work like paper. And in that regard, the Amazon Basics Multipurpose Copy Paper delivers. It works as paper should. That's really the core of it. This paper is functional. It's the kind of paper you buy when you need a lot of it without breaking the bank. Here's a quick breakdown: Pros: Affordable: This is the biggest selling point. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option for everyday printing, this is a solid choice. Good for High-Volume Printing: Because of its affordability, it's great for those situations where you're churning out documents and don't want to worry about the cost per page. Works in Most Printers: I've used it in inkjet and laser printers without any major issues. It's generally reliable in terms of feeding and printing. Acceptable Brightness: It's not the brightest white paper on the market, but it's acceptable for most general-purpose printing. Cons: Not Premium Quality: Don't expect a luxurious feel or exceptionally crisp print quality. It's not designed for high-resolution photos or important presentations. Can Be a Little Thin: Compared to more expensive paper, it can feel a bit thinner. This might lead to slight show-through if you're printing heavily on both sides. Packaging Can Sometimes Be Damaged: While not always the case, some users have reported damaged packaging upon delivery. This hasn't affected the paper itself in my experience, but it's something to be aware of. Overall: The Amazon Basics Multipurpose Copy Paper is a reliable and affordable option for everyday printing needs. It's not fancy, but it gets the job done. If you're looking for premium quality, look elsewhere. But if you just need a lot of paper, that works as paper should, and at a good price, this is a worthwhile choice. That's really the core of it. Reliable Everyday Printer Paper
Size: 1 Ream | 500 Sheets, Style: Letter (8.5x11)
This is standard plain printer paper for everyday home use, and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do without any issues. I have had no problems with paper jams, ink smudging, or feeding through the printer. The paper is an average thickness, nothing special, but perfectly fine for printing documents. The color is white. It does not curl, and everything comes out clean and readable. It does not stand out in any particular way, but there is also nothing to complain about. Overall, it is reliable, consistent, and works well for regular home printing needs. I will buy again.
