______________
‘A great work comparing the teaching of current "evangelicals" Daniel Fuller, Don Garlington and Norman Shepherd on the topics listed in the title with that of Martin Luther, John Calvin, the Reformed Confessions and scripture itself, showing the former to have fallen from the truth. I appreciate the depth of Waldron's study as he put much thought and study into this dissertation. He took care to give a background to the controversy involving the three antagonists and quoted from their primary works and has a helpful bibliography listing resources that he used and that one can search for more information on these topics. Dr. Waldron is definitely correct in the primary importance of these subjects for salvation, and he rightly distinguishes faith from obedience in justification…’ Kevin Gordon
