• Best Sowing Time:  November to February

• Cool weather supports strong germination and healthy plant growth.

Growing Instructions

1. Soil Preparation:

• Use well-drained and fertile soil.

• Add 50% vermicompost and 50% sandy soil (Bhall). 
  

2. Sowing Method:

• Sow seeds directly in pots or garden beds.

• Sprinkle seeds lightly and cover with a thin layer of soil (¼ inch).

• Water gently after sowing.

3. Watering:

• Keep soil slightly moist.

• Avoid overwatering to prevent fungal issues.

4. Germination:

• Germination time: 7 - 12 days.

• Place in a sunny area for quick growth.

5. Sunlight Needs:

• Prefers full sun for healthy leaf development.

6. Transplanting:

• When seedlings are 3 - 4 inches tall, space them 8 - 10 inches apart.

7. Harvest:

• Harvest leaves after 30 - 40 days.

• Seeds can be collected once flowers dry and seed pods turn brown.
