Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party, tribesmen of the Bayt Imani lineage of Rashid Bedouin, lead a caravan of camels along a low dune ridge at the edge of a salt flat (sabkha). The sand in the foreground is entirely bare of any vegetation. It is not the most comfortable fabric which makes it not suitable for summer clothing. Also, the fitting of the neck doesn’t look good since material is not wrinkle free
