At the conclusion of the Civil War, the U.S. Army was one of the finest military machines in the world, able to meet any of the great powers on equal footing. In the last half of the 19th century, the Army faced only two enemies, the Indians and the U.S. Congress. While the frontier forces were struggling with the Indians, the congress, upholding the traditions of incompetence and stupidity it had established under the Continental Congress, decimated the army. By 1873, the U.S. Army was down to 25,000 men of whom 15,000 were on the frontier covering an area of over a million square miles. This item is an unpainted and unassembled metal hobby kits. Standing figurines are approx. 2-1/2" - 3" tall. Kit is recommended for ages 8+ |

They are about what I expected for the price. Nice and warm, but they pill a lot and sit higher on my ankle than I'd like. Very cozy and comfy though. Great around the house, not really great for hiking though. Kinda thin after a few uses outdoors. Washable but not very durable.

Theses socks are so comfortable perfect size and thickness theses were the only socks I took on a 2 week Ireland trip with me.
These are a great value for your money and they look so cute on, I could not find any socks in Ireland that were as soft and have the durability that these have.
