This is for sure our best selling SDM mast. This line has been developed thinking about all those windsurfers who are looking for an extremely performing mast comparable to the big brother SPEED, but with a more affordable price. Even the taper is the same as in the SPEED 100%, with the only exception of the bottom section that has a higher diameter. This ensures an extremely fast response, matched with an unprecedented reflex ratio, reducing at the same time the risk of letting you swim disconsolate to the beach. The mast is composed by an 80% carbon with a 20% glass epoxy fiber insertion. The two fibers are matched together electronically by means of our leading-edge ULTRA STRATIFICATION TECHNOLOGY, in order to ensure the best possible performance and quality standards. But it's not all yet, we have gone even further to obtain the perfect bond between fibers and resins: we have used the AUTOCLAVE CONSISTENCY production process. This process, available only to very few companies, involves the curing of the carbon under high pressure, literally driving tiny air bubbles that cause imperfections out of the mast. The boom area features the exclusive gold & polymer protection shield that avoids overstress from the boom joint end. Also the FREE line undergoes the AERO SANDING JOINT process to prevent the sections from getting stuck one into the other.
