We added a 36" chafe sleeve to "double up" the abrasion protection as well. Of course, our HMPE synthetic fiber is already pre-coated for UV, water, and abrasion protection so this sucker will last you a very long time as long as you don't swear at it too much, we can't protect its feelings with a coating.
