Frag. Pattern Milled Aluminum OctagonWe realized we had never done an Aluminum grip Octagon before, so we did! Drawing design inspiration from high end folding knives and their ball mill engraving based on the pattern of a WW1 fragmentation grenade. This top layer was then laminated using stainless bolts to a frosted 1 2" chunk of acrylic to add thickness as well as let some light through the wheel and show off the construction techniques. The back wood grip is our new style, with exaggerated chamfers dividing the 8 sides into individual pieces.
