Green River Full Proof Wheated Bourbon comes from Green River Distilling Co. in Owensboro, Kentucky, drawn from original tile warehouses where shifting warm and cool temperatures shape a bold, unfiltered character. This full proof expression is built from hand-selected five to seven year barrels, showcasing the distillery’s flagship style at natural strength for a deeper, more authentic bourbon experience.
The sour mash of 70% corn, 21% rye, and 9% malted barley delivers layered aromas of caramel, toasted oak, and vanilla, followed by rich spice, baked grain sweetness, and a warming rye-driven finish. Bottled at a robust 109.3 proof, the flavor stays intense yet balanced, preserving the barrel’s natural depth and texture.
Best enjoyed neat to explore its full-bodied profile, or with a splash of water to open up softer notes and tailor the proof to your preference, this Kentucky straight bourbon rewards slow sipping and careful attention.
