This fluid, water-based color lays down with clarity and transparency, moving easily from a whisper-light glaze to vivid, luminous accents. Ideal for illustration, calligraphy highlights, and expressive washes, it makes light effects and warm undertones effortless without visual heaviness.
Craftsmanship & Color
Formulated for clean dilution and smooth layering, Jaune Soleil blends seamlessly with water and other compatible water-based media. It dries to a translucent finish and can be reactivated with water to refine gradients or soften edges. The buoyant, warm hue adds energy to botanicals, sunlight, and mixed-media pages while staying controllable and even.
Writing & Use Experience
Expect a smooth, consistent flow from brush or dip nib, with crisp lines when inked lightly and broad tonal range when washed out. For best results, use watercolor paper or mixed-media surfaces that handle wet techniques. This ink is intended for brush and dip-pen applications and is not recommended for fountain pens.
