By doing so, this instantly works to prevent New Tank Syndrome, which occurs when the water contains high level of ammonia and nitrite and there are not enough beneficial bacteria to process it, by establishing a biological filter in newly set-up fish tanks and aquariums.

  Use when setting up a new aquarium, adding new fish to the tank, after water changes, when cleaning the filter, and treatment to quickly establish a natural biological filter.
