Originating from the holy city of Qom, Iran — internationally celebrated for producing some of the world’s finest silk carpets — this exceptional piece displays extraordinary craftsmanship, precision drawing, and remarkable knot density. Qom rugs are regarded among the most luxurious and collectible Persian carpets, known for their intricate floral compositions, luminous silk, and museum-quality detailing.

This rug features an elegant Shah Abbas floral medallion design set upon a refined ivory field with beautifully balanced rose-toned borders. Delicate arabesques, scrolling vines, and finely articulated floral motifs are rendered in a sophisticated palette of ivory, blush rose, pale turquoise, sage green, and muted terracotta tones.

The weave is exceptionally fine at approximately 11 × 11 knots per cm² (circa 1.2 million knots per square metre), placing it firmly within the upper echelon of fine Qom silk production.
