The operation is simple and charging will commence upon connection. With no need to disconnect the battery from the vehicle, at charge start the LITHIUM US will automatically reset any low voltage protection electronics (Battery Management System) fitted. Charging can be restarted manually at any time using the ‘Reset’ button.
Fully Automatic
The CTEK LITHIUM US is a fully automatic ‘connect and forget’ charger with 8 charging steps including a testing sequence to show if the LiFePO4 battery can take and retain the charge, a unique maximization step to restore full capacity, and patented maintenance charging to ensure maximum performance even after months of inactivity. Splash-proof and dust-proof (IP65) the LITHIUM US is easy and safe to use, protects vehicle electronics, is spark-free, is reverse polarity protected and short circuit proof. The LITHIUM US features a 5-year warranty.
8-Step Program
- Accept: Tests if the battery can accept charge. This step prevents that charging proceeds with a defect battery.
- Bulk: Charging with maximum current until approximately 90% battery capacity.
- Absorption: Charging with declining current to maximize up to 95% battery capacity.
- Analyze: Tests if the battery can hold charge. Batteries that can not hold charge may need to be replaced.
- Completion: Final charge with reduced current.
- Maximization: Final charge with maximum voltage up to 100% battery capacity.
- Float: Maintaining the battery voltage at maximum level by providing a constant voltage charge.
- Pulse: Maintaining the battery at 95-100% capacity. The charger monitors the battery voltage and gives a pulse when necessary to keep the battery fully charged.

keyboard and case is phenomenal, trackpad is borderline unfunctional

I bought this case, because of the keyboard and trackpad, i wanted to use my ipad more like a laptop. the keyboard is phenomenal and certaintly better than other cheap ipad keyboards i have tried, I can actually use this one without having to repeatedly slam or hard press certain keys and can actually have a flow of typing. additionally, everything else regarding the case itself is amazing. it isnt cumbersome or bulky and it is very easy to swap between ipad and laptop mode on the fly. the trackpad however is genuinely unusable. the sensitivity on the trackpad is horrid and I cannot figure out how to change it, and additionally, clicking using the trackpad is outright impossible. you try to left click, it registers as a right click, or you try to click and it instead snaps your cursor to the bottom of the screen instead. it is also impossible to use any gesture functions with the trackpad, even something as simple as scrolling up and down or left to right is impossible. it is outright impossible to have any kind of workflow using the trackpad. it is unfortunately just a lot easier to use the keyboard and touch screen! its a shame that the keyboard and case itself is very nice too, so I will now have to spend more money on a separate mouse, which is additionally ANOTHER item i will have to carry around, just to make what I already bought work the way I expected.
