Il Rosso di Montepulciano “Sabazio” della cantina La Braccesca della famiglia Antinori è un vino toscano realizzato con una base importante di Sangiovese, a cui viene aggiunta una piccola percentuale di Merlot per renderlo più morbido, rotondo e fruttato. È un rosso di medio corpo, vinificato esclusivamente in acciaio, che matura per pochi mesi prima d’essere messo in commercio. Il profilo conserva il tipico volto varietale, caratterizzato da fragranti aromi fruttati e da un’immediata freschezza espressiva, che ne rende la beva particolarmente piacevole. È un rosso giovane e molto duttile negli abbinamenti a tavola.  

  • Procedimento: Il Merlot viene generalmente vendemmiato nelle prime settimane di settembre e circa un mese dopo si procede con il Sangiovese. Le uve vengono diraspate e pigiate in modo soffice, quindi fatte fermentare e vinificate separatamente seguendo le diverse epoche di maturazione. Solo in un secondo momento si procede all’assemblaggio definitivo. Prima dell’imbottigliamento, il vino matura in serbatoi d’acciaio inox per circa 4 mesi.
  • Caratteristiche: Il Montepulciano “Sabazio” della cantina toscana La Braccesca dei Marchesi Antinori è un rosso piacevolmente fresco e semplice, adatto a essere consumato nel corso dell’annata, in modo da poterne apprezzare al meglio la giovanile fragranza fruttata. Nel calice si presenta con un colore rosso rubino piuttosto intenso. Al naso si apre su note floreali di rosa violetta, aromi fruttati di ciliegia matura, susina e piccoli frutti a bacca rossa. Al palato è scorrevole, con un centro bocca succoso e croccante e un finale fresco, di buona persistenza gustativa.
  • Abbinamenti: Piatti tipici della cucina toscana e maremmana, salumi, pasta e ravioli al ragù di carne, secondi di carne e formaggi stagionati.

La Tenuta

 Il vino “Sabazio” è un Rosso di Montepulciano che nasce nelle vigne della tenuta dei Marchesi Antinori La Braccesca, una vasta proprietà acquistata negli anni ‘90. La Braccesca si trova al confine tra l’areale della Val di Chiana e Cortona e le terre del Montepulciano, in una zona ancora incontaminata e ricca di boschi. Copre una superficie di oltre 500 ettari, di cui 340 destinati a vigneto. Il clima e i terreni si sono rivelati perfetti per le varietà a bacca rossa, che si esprimono su eccellenti livelli qualitativi.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
