KEF KC62 Active Subwoofer - Elegant and powerful

KEF’s KC62 is an incredibly compact, good looking subwoofer that delivers the might and magic of deep, accurate bass for a thrillingly immersive music, movie and gaming experience. Created using innovative KEF engineering including the ground-breaking Uni-Core™ technology, the football-sized KC62 features two 6.5inch force cancelling drive units powered by 1,000W RMS of specially designed Class D amplification.

Don’t let the size fool you

Deep and powerful bass is no longer solely the domain of big-shouldered, massive subwoofers. KC62 is David to their Goliath; an ultra-compact subwoofer capable of delivering accurate, deep bass for an immersive music, movie and gaming experience at complete odds with its modest dimensions. And just as David beat Goliath, so KC62’s performance renders these subwoofer behemoths obsolete.

Uni-Core drivers

It's hard to find a sub that rolls out deep rumbles on movie night, reproduces fine musical details, and doesn't take up a lots of space. With the KEF KC62's Uni-Core driver technology you get to have your cake — and eat it too. Dual 6.5" drivers are positioned back-to-back and share a single magnet system with concentrically arranged voice coils. This force-cancelling arrangement gives the KC62 greater excursion than its size would normally allow. This means it can deliver volume output and depth usually associated with a much larger subwoofer, without sacrificing control or precision.

Accurate, deep bass with speed and power

Accuracy is a KEF hallmark, whether in full-range loudspeakers or in subwoofers dedicated to delivering sensational bass. An array of innovative technologies come together to ensure KC62’s bass accuracy, including the P-Flex surround for precise driver movement and Smart Distortion Control Technology that reduces distortion, while performance is maximised via KEF’s Music Integrity Engine.

Design meets substance

Crafted from extruded aluminium, KC62’s curved cabinet perfectly blends form and function, providing strength and beauty. Small enough to blend into any décor, the Carbon Black and Mineral White finishes also make KC62 an exceptionally attractive statement.

5 Pre-set room EQ modes

KC62 slips effortlessly into any environment or listening room, with the five pre-set Room Placement Equalisation feature ensuring the same performance no matter where you decide to place it; in free space, next to the wall, in a corner, nestled within a cabinet or using the dedicated apartment mode.

Turn up the Power

KC62’s twin drivers are powered by 1,000W RMS (2 x 500W) of specially designed Class D amplification, providing exceptional levels of control and the ability to deliver sudden bursts of power when required, for example when enjoying your favourite high-octane action sequence.

Versatile connection options

With both line- and speaker-level inputs and a line-level output with high-pass filtering, it should easy to integrate the KC62 sub into most home audio systems. If you prefer the flexibility of wireless, the sub is compatible with the optional KEF KW1 wireless subwoofer adapter kit (sold separately).

Format: Paperback
This is a fake book written by AI. It reads worse than a Wikipedia article and is a complete scam.

A Rough, Rocky Start
Format: Kindle
Modern Africa started after a long rough and rocky start. This book describes the trials each district has had to face to gain their freedom from Europe and what life was like in each district under the control of foreigners. As WWI began, many of Africa's districts were effected, some were forced to supply fighting men, some had their resources used to support the war effort, and some had fighting in their area. When WWII started Africa found that not much had changed. However, as Africa gained its freedom and became self governing internal wars broke out between the different tribes. Well, you will have to read the book to find out how that turned out. This book covers all that and so much more. It all written in an easy to read and understand format that Captivating History is known for and as always they do a great job of explaining everything. This is a great book and recommend you giving it a read.

An Overview of an Oft-Overlooked History
Format: Kindle
Depending on your ethnicity, you may, or may not, know a lot about Africa. This book summarizes the Continent’s history, highlighting the major events and occurrences that contributed its current geopolitical state. Africa today is made up of 54 countries, 2000 languages, 20% of the Earth's land mass, and 1.4 billion people. It therefore should play an important part in the World, today (which it does, but one that rarely makes the headlines in USA TV or newspaper coverage.) The Author covers, Slavery, European Colonization, Africa’s part in World Wars One & Two, and the various Religious histories going back to the time of Christ. Since the author is American, there is a portion devoted to the USA’s main relationships with different African Nations. All this culminates in a surveillance of the numerous African Civil Wars of the last 50 years leading to the reality of the current geopolitical scene. The section on Dictators and Revolutionaries is limited to one of each. I’m guessing there could have been more. Still, if you are looking for an overview of Africa as it is today and what contributed to its present situation, this is an excellent beginning point.

OK short read
Format: Kindle
Reasonable short read. Have to doubt the facts since the author writes FDR was alive in the 1950's and he leaves out the Haitian genocide in his narrative.
