They have tightened up the radius when compared to prior versions of the QST, this brings more energy on piste and a zip that make skiing fun.
The QST 100 is modernised both in shape and construction. With the latter focusing on minimising vibrations and improving overall damping through variable snow. This makes it an excellent choice for powder skiing without going too wide. Its just as much fun to rip this ski through day old variable crud as it is through fresh powder.
Whilst the QST series is based in Freeride, jumping off cliffs and the like, it is far from a slouch if you keep your skis on the snow. Its manoeuvrability and ease of turning in deeper snow makes it a very versatile 100mm shape. One that can be used overseas as well as at home in Australia, though it may struggle on the blue ice we regularly get.
New for 2026, the Salomon QST range is entirely Unisex. So no longer do Salomon make a different QST Lumen model for ladies, rather they just make all lengths available in the Unisex model of the QST 100.
