The mohair yarn, sourced from the Angora goat, is hand-dyed in small batches at a historic mill dating back to 1204. About the Artisan

Cushendale Woollen Mills (est. 1778) sits along the River Barrow in Graiguenamanagh, a town with more than 800 years of textile tradition. Still family-run, Cushendale is one of the last mills in Ireland to dye, spin, and weave on-site. Both the mill and town are part of the World Crafts Council–designated Craft City & Region, one of only four in Europe.
