The 034Motorsport Titanium Brake Pad Shim Kit is designed to maximize the braking performance of your B9/B9.5 Audi equipped with the factory Akebono Brake Calipers.
For those that use their brakes to the maximum either on the road, and especially those that take their car to the track, 034Motorsport engineers developed an additional heat-blocking upgrade in the form of Titanium Brake Pad Shims for the factory Akebono Audi brake calipers. Positioned between the brake pad and caliper, titanium shims' low thermal conductivity reduces heat transfer from the Brake Pads and Rotors into the Caliper, preventing brake fluid overheating and brake fade during intense track use. This upgrade enhances safety and brake modulation, while extending the lifespan of components like caliper seals, lowering long-term maintenance costs. Additionally, titanium shims help minimize brake squeal, providing quiet and reliable performance.
