Cast iron flux is a powder flux for fusion welding cast iron.

• High quality general purpose flux, ideal for brazing steel, cast iron, copper, bronze and many other metal alloys (Will not work on aluminium as the melting point is too low)

• Suitable for use with silicon bronze rods and oxy acetylene welding

• Essential for cleaning and preventing oxidation, helps improve wetting and bonding; Can be mixed with water to form a paste
