Septarian is a grounding stone, connecting you with Mother Earth and her healing energy. Septarian is unique. It resulted from volcanic eruptions on the sea floor and reactions with the shells of dead sea life. The altered sediment then formed mud balls which dried out into complex concretions. The geodes are composed of Calcite, which makes up the yellow centres and Aragonite which are the brown lines. The outer grey rock is Limestone. It is UV reactive.
The name Septarian comes from the Latin word septum meaning seven, and saeptum, which means a wall or enclosure. As the balls dried, they shrank, with a tendency to create a distinctive pattern sometimes featuring seven points.
This allows you better patience, tolerance and emotional flexibility. Septarian is wonderful for when you are going through a crisis or drastic change in your life.
