Dominate Outdoor Grading and Layout Tasks with High-Visibility Green-Beam Precision
The Bosch GRL18V-31K 18V Green-Beam Horizontal Rotary Laser Kit is a comprehensive, ultra-precise site leveling solution built to withstand the harshest commercial contracting environments. Featuring an advanced green-beam laser diode that projects a line up to four times brighter than standard red beams, this high-performance transit level provides exceptional visibility across long distances, even under direct sunlight. Engineered specifically for massive outdoor grading, concrete formwork alignment, and excavation setups, this system features a streamlined, one-button user interface that eliminates complex menu tracking. Turn the tool on, and its smart internal systems handle the rest, enabling seamless automatic self-leveling so your crew can get to work immediately.
Engineered for maximum versatility on unpredictable terrain, this structural leveling tool features a wide ±15% self-leveling range that ensures rapid, error-free setup on uneven ground. Its heavy-duty composite framework is IP66-rated to be completely dust-tight and resistant to high-pressure water jets, and it has been officially drop-tested to survive a 5-foot tripod tip-over shock. To prevent costly downtime on remote jobs, the laser boasts a flexible dual-source power system, allowing it to run continuously on the included universal AMPShare 18V Lithium-Ion battery pack or standard C alkaline batteries using the provided adapter sleeve. Complete with a heavy-duty tripod, a telescoping grade rod, and a robust laser receiver, this kit provides a 1,000-foot working range with an accuracy of up to ±1/16-inch at 100 feet.
Key Features
- Ultra-Bright Green Laser Diode: Delivers exceptional visibility that is up to 4X brighter than classic red lasers, optimizing performance for long-range outdoor layouts.
- Rapid One-Button Interface: Simplified singular button design streamlines setup and operation while full automatic self-leveling eliminates manual calibration errors.
- Dual Power Flexibility Architecture: Operates seamlessly using the included 18V 4.0Ah battery pack or conventional C alkaline cells for flexible power management.
- IP66 Environmental Rating: Heavy-duty dust-tight construction shields delicate internal optics from harsh windborne site dust and powerful rain or water splashes.
- Massive 1,000-Foot Operational Range: Provides dead-on reliability across vast distances with a tight structural accuracy of up to ±1/16 in. at 100 ft.
- AMPShare Battery Compatibility: Part of a cross-brand cordless ecosystem, the included battery works across an expansive array of professional power tools.

Pro-Tip: Before beginning a long grading run, clear any direct optical obstructions within a 5-foot radius of the tripod stand. Because green-beam lasers operate with incredible light intensity, keeping the immediate path free of thick dust blankets or hanging foliage stops the light plane from scattering prematurely, preserving maximum signal clarity across your full 1,000-foot work site perimeter.
