This adapter will allow you to mount your 6-bolt MOMO or other 6x70mm pattern steering wheel to the steering column on your Mercury Cougar.

MOMO adapter connects the steering column to the MOMO steering wheel. MOMO was among the first to address safety by creating a collapsible hub. Built from a single piece of steel with a spider-like structure fixed to an aluminium base, it is designed to absorb much of the energy generated if the driver’s body strikes the wheel in an accident.

In fact, MOMO is one of the first companies in the world to have passed the tests required for the German homologations TÜV and KBA. Please note that not all vehicles can be TÜV homologated with an aftermarket steering wheel and boss kit. 1. Replacing the steering wheel on cars equipped with airbag systems will disable the airbags for both the driver and the front passenger, as well as any other airbags fitted in the car.
2. MOMO hub adapters are intended for tuning & racing use only.
