kennametal 90 degree angle blast nozzleThe 90 Hozzle Series is a tungsten carbide angle access nozzle that directs the blast stream perpendicular, sideways from the tip of the Hozzle lance body. The 90° Hozzle Series is a tungsten carbide angle access nozzle that directs the blast stream perpendicular, sideways from the tip of the Hozzle lance body.
The 90° exit is particularly suited to cleaning the interior walls of bores, channels, and cylindrical passages where the nozzle body is inserted axially and the perpendicular blast stream strikes the inner surface at 90° for the most direct abrasive impact on the wall. This geometry is ideal for cleaning the inside of blind bores in aerospace castings and machined components, tubular structures in aviation airframes, and cylindrical engine passages in automotive applications where only the slim 7/16" profile can enter the bore.
For a 45° diagonal exit from the same slim body, the 45° Hozzle Series is available. For a 135° reverse exit, the 135° Hozzle Series is available. A custom Hozzle angle design can be manufactured upon request, contact Reemster for more information.
Key Features
- 11.1mm (7/16") OD slim body
- #3 (3/16" / 4.8mm) bore for a concentrated, precisely directed abrasive stream
- Cleaning bore interiors, channel walls, and cylindrical surfaces at right angles to the nozzle axis
- Designed for aerospace, aviation, and automotive bore and channel cleaning applications
- Thread: 3/4"-14 N.S.P.M. (steel) — for lance pipe assemblies and precision access tooling; not compatible with standard 1-1/4" or 50 mm nozzle holders
Available Lengths
Available in three overall lengths: 101 mm (4"), 152 mm (6") and 254 mm (10").
